Geographer Double Ventile

If you've ever owned a Ventile coat, you will know what I mean. If you haven't and you buy one, you will probably never want to wear anything else.

L24 Ventile Fabri  is the best natural outerwear fabric in the world. A closely woven 2 ply long staple Swiss cotton yarn. You can read about it on the Ventile website. https://ventile.co.uk/ It was originally an English company as you will see. They don't advertise the fact that it is now Swiss as they want to promote their English heritage, which I can understand. The Geographer double Ventile uses the same fabric internally and you will see that there is a large choice of colours.

The advantages of wearing a coat in this fabric are twofold. Firstly there is arguably nothing more breathable on the market and so it feels very comfortable, secondly a double layer will keep you dry for up to 8 hours. Natural fibre breathable and dry what more could you want..

At checkout you also have the option to add either Merino wool or Goosedown insulation. Merino allows the coat to be worn comfortably down to -10°C and Goosedown comfortably down to -25°C. The coat as it is will be comfortable down to 0 to 2°C it's main purpose without insulation is to keep you dry!
