The A.L. Morton is a refined, lightly tailored jacket designed to offer serious protection from cold, wind, and rain, while maintaining an elegant, wearable silhouette. As far as we know, we are the only people producing an all-natural fibre quilted jacket — including the padding — and each one is custom-made by us in our own workshop.

Made entirely in England, the jacket is constructed using a double layer of water-repellent 100% cotton sourced from Halley Stevensons (Scotland). Both the outer shell and the inner layer use this tightly woven cotton, creating a naturally breathable yet highly effective barrier against the elements.

Warmth is provided by Lavalan Merino wool insulation — a natural alternative to synthetic padding. Merino wool regulates temperature exceptionally well, keeping you warm without overheating and remaining comfortable throughout the day.

Cut in a slightly tailored style, the A.L. Morton sits comfortably over a suit yet works just as well worn casually on a long, cold walk. As with all our garments, specific measurements and individual adjustments are no problem. Because we cut and make everything ourselves, each jacket can be adapted to suit both your body and how you intend to wear it.
