Heavy Wax Duffle Coat

For this traditional British coat we decided to use a heavier than standard Wax cotton to give it that rugged feel, making it also warmer and more rainproof than the normal 8oz fabric widely used in traditional wax jackets. This is waxed cotton is 12oz and has a lovely authentic patina like the waxed cotton jackets of old. We buy it from Halley Stevensons of Dundee, Scotland, as we do the lining. Which is a high quality 2 ply cotton.
