Mid-Thigh Waterproof Waxed Jacket with Removable Hood & Optional Insulation

The Geographer is a longer, mid-thigh interpretation of our classic waxed jacket style, designed for serious wet-weather performance with a clean, practical silhouette. It finishes around mid-thigh (approximately 35" back length as standard), and can be made to your preferred length if you would like it specified.

The outer cloth is a premium long-staple 2-ply waxed cotton from Halley Stevensons (Scotland), chosen for its denser weave and beautifully characterful ageing. Like all great 2-ply waxed cotton, it develops a unique patina with wear.

Inside, the jacket is lined with a 2-ply dry cotton of comparable quality (without wax), delivering excellent breathability and long-duration rain protection — designed to keep you dry for approximately 6–8 hours in wet weather.

• Solid 2-way brass zip for durability and comfort in movement
• Pocketing: 6 outer pockets + 2 inside pockets (pocket configuration can be altered if preferred)
• Collar options: leather, nubuck (suede leather), corduroy, or matching cotton

Temperature Guide

• As standard: down to approx. 0–2°C
• With Merino insulation: down to approx. –6°C
• With Goosedown insulation: down to approx. –25°C
