The Linen oversized jacket is made from what is widely regarded as the finest linen cloth available — a beautiful 250g washed linen woven by Solbiati, the historic Italian mill now owned by Loro Piana.

Solbiati has been weaving exceptional linen since 1874, and their fabrics are recognised instantly for their depth, character and durability. This particular cloth features a subtle noppé weave, giving it a slightly more substantial and textured feel than typical lightweight summer linen.

The result is a fabric that drapes with confidence, holds its shape beautifully, and wears exceptionally well over time. It has a gentle ruggedness that adds character while still maintaining the elegance expected of a refined summer jacket.

Construction & Finish

The jacket is deliberately half lined, allowing the natural breathability of the linen to be fully appreciated during warm weather. Instead of a lining, the interior is finished with comfortable half lining in the same fabric , showcasing the craftsmanship while keeping the garment light, cool and comfortable.

The cut is unstructured and slightly oversized, offering relaxed elegance with just enough shaping to sit neatly over a shirt or lightweight knit.
