The Merino Thermal Waxed Cotton Coat is designed for those who want the beauty and character of a traditional waxed cotton coat, but with genuine insulation and all-day comfort. Unlike many insulated wax jackets, which rely on polyester padding, this coat is made entirely with natural fibres for a warmer, more breathable and more luxurious feel. 

We use exceptional Lavalan Merino wool insulation, sourced from Germany, to create a coat that feels warm without becoming heavy or airless. Merino wool is naturally breathable and temperature regulating, helping the coat feel comfortable across changing conditions while still offering real cold-weather performance. There is also the option to upgrade to full 100% pure Goosedown, a truly remarkable warm experience.

Waxed Cotton, Properly Done

The outer is made from two-ply waxed cotton, paired with a soft two-ply cotton lining. The result is a coat that feels wonderfully warm, breathable, waterproof and comfortable all round. We use a higher-grade waxed cotton than the lighter cloths often found in larger mainstream brands, which is one reason this piece feels so substantial and performs so well in wear. 

Because the coat is built from natural materials throughout, it has a calmer, more breathable quality than many modern technical jackets. It protects you from rain and cold while still feeling soft and easy to live in.

Made by Us
