Merino wool lined Wax Jacket with removable Ventile bodywarmer - waterproof

This is the limited edition version of our best selling Wax Jacket. Available in 20 colours (see images)  and fully lined in Merino Wool tweed.It also comes with a button out quilted bodywarmer made from Ventile and a button off sheepskin collar.

The Wax Cotton is a made from a premium two ply U.S grown 100% cotton which has a tighter weave, a better drape and ages much better than waxed cotton traditionally used in the marketplace. We buy this from Halley Stevensons of Dundee, Scotland.

The 100% Australian Merino wool Tweed lining is supplied to us by Lovat Mill of Hawick, Scotland. It is a High quality 2 ply merino. Normally a company will use an inferior quality for the lining, simply because it is the lining!, but we use the same specification Merino tweed that would be used for a high-quality sports jacket. The button out body warmer is made from two layers of waterproof Ventile pure cotton fabric  And sandwiched between these two layers is a 150 g padding made from Lavalan, which is a merino wool insulation with a truly soft down handle. It is more expensive but the loft and heat retention is much better than inferior Products. 

Everything is trimmed in fine English leather that we buy together with the removable sheepskin collar from GH leathers of Northampton England.
