Traditional Austrian Loden Coat

We have resurrected this wonderful style from the archives of many an old fashioned Austrian brand that sadly no longer exists. From the 1850's until the 1990's it was a style often worn all over Europe. There is also only one supplier left of the Authentic wool/alpaca Himalaya Loden. That is Leichtfied of Austria, from whom we buy this luxurious fabric. 80% Wool and 20% Alpaca, unparalleled in quality and performance.

The style exactly replicates the original garment with fully bound internal seams and a half lining made from Silk, It is an unlined garment and was originally made to be worn over a suit. The are ventilation slits under the arms, remaining faithful to the original design.
