Authentic Loden Smock Ventile Lined

Possibly our warmest product and modelled on an old swedish military smock from the 1930s. We use the best authentic wool alpaca Loden that we buy from Leichtfried in Austria, the properties of authentic loden are well known and have been worn by people in southern Europe for centuries. A combination of pure virgin wool and alpaca offers a unique warmth using only natural fibres and excellent breathability. Once the fabric starts to get wet the alpaca fibre swell to make the tight weave and the reason why this fabric has been keeping people dry naturally for so long.

The smock is lined with the excellent Ventile cotton. There is the option to add pure goosedown which makes it very wearable down to -30°C (it's ok down to -10 without)

It has lower side entry pockets and three chest pockets. For ease of wearing there is a side zip to help with putting on and taking off the jacket.
