Geographer Unlined Pure Cotton Waterproof Coat

An unlined, 100% cotton rainproof coat with detachable hood. But also with the option to accommodate a zip in cotton lining made from the same fabric. This option allows for seasonal versatility. Please see the drop down menu if you would like to choose this option.

This 2 ply cotton that we buy from Halley Stevensons of Scotland is woven using a U.S grown cotton yarn made from Pima Cotton. It is a super dense weave and makes an ideal lightweight raincoat. Until recently we offered this jacket with what we thought was eco-friendly spray in addition to the naturally water resistant properties of the fabric, however we found that even the eco-friendly sprays have questionable origins and their potential toxicity in the environment, not least to humans and so we've ditched them altogether. In fact the jacket performs just as well by adding an additional layer of reinforcements in the shoulder area and we also upped the specification for weaving density.

We make the coat ourselves from a selection of 20 colours. All seams are beautifully finished using a French seam method, which is a more time consuming, yet original and crafted way to finish a product.
