The Prestige Loden is a waterproof, breathable men’s field coat built entirely from exceptional natural fibres. It is designed to offer the calm comfort of traditional cloth with real-world protection from wind and rain — without synthetic membranes.

The outer is made from authentic Austrian Himalaya Loden sourced from Leichtfried of Salzburg, producers of this remarkable cloth for around 200 years. Leichtfried are widely regarded as the only mill still producing the truly authentic 80% wool / 20% alpaca Loden — a fabric many mills stopped making due to its expense.

This is Loden as it was intended: naturally warm, highly wind resistant, and quietly weather capable. The wool–alpaca blend allows an exceptionally dense weave, and the alpaca element helps the fabric tighten and perform even better in damp conditions.

Ventile® Lining

The coat is lined with Ventile® cotton, a world-class performance fabric renowned for its comfort and weather resistance. Ventile enhances rain protection while maintaining excellent breathability, making the Prestige Loden noticeably comfortable to wear for long periods — warm without feeling clammy, and protective without feeling noisy or stiff.

Made by Us in Our Own Workshop

The Prestige Loden is cut and made by us in England. Because we design, cut and manufacture everything ourselves, we can usually accommodate custom sizing and minor adjustments on request.
