We make our own 'high end' production here in the UK. From design through, patternmaking, cutting, sewing to the finished product, your jacket is made by us. Our workshop is situated in the centre of medieval York. I have been designing and making coats for 30 years and as the former Head of Design for Barbour, I bring what you will hopefully feel is a good background of design and know how. 

The aim of English Utopia is to make locally, using the best raw materials in the world. We are proud of this and you will see that we tell you where we buy our fabrics from so you can check for yourself.
